Tour Highlights

A unique and individual private safari that will take you exploring Tanzania's northern parks such as Tarangire National Park, Lake Eyasi, Lukuba Island in Lake Victoria, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park.

You will be trending through best wildlife areas in Tanzania; this is a rewarded wildlife safari with quality game viewing opportunities.

Day 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Ngurdoto Lodge, a small "bush home" located at the base of Mt. Meru, personally hosted by the owners, the Novaks.

Days 2, 3, & 4

After breakfast, you will be driven to Tarangire National Park. The topology of Tarangire is characteristic of open acacia woodland and grassy savannas studded with majestic baobab trees. While in Tarangire you will encounter the largest herds of elephant and buffalo in northern Tanzania.
For the next 3 days you be staying at George Mavroudis Safari Camp

Days 5, 6, & 7

On this day after breakfast, head out towards Lake Eyasi, south of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is a wilderness area hardly visited and is home to Tanzania’s last surviving native Bushmen.

Arriving in good time for lunch, later on after checking in at Kisima Ngeda camp you will head out for nature walks around the camps with chances of viewing striped hyena, bushbuck, reedbuck, hippo, Dikdik, African hare, Africa's small wild cats and mongoose and over 140 different bird species.

Cultural visit to the Mangati tribe who inhabits this area is also in order. The next day, you will set off in the morning for the Yaeda Escarpment with a fly camp so as to be able to venture into the interiors where the waHadzabe live. Spend the next morning with the Hadza, then return to the base camp at Kisima Ngeda.

Days 8, & 9

In the morning you will be driven to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It’s often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world; it is home to an abundance of wildlife. Descend to the crater floor in search of the almost extinct black rhinoceros as well as elephant, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, lion, and other game. Here you will get excellent photographic opportunities.

The animals in Ngorongoro Crater are the most approachable in Tanzania which provides fantastic photographic opportunities. Later on you will be air lifted to Musoma, where you will be met and transferred by boat to Lukuba Island Lodge, situated on a tiny private island in Lake Victoria, the source of the Nile. Spend the next 2 days and nights on this picturesque island, as you enjoy fishing and a unique culture at Lukuba Island Lodge.

Days 10, 11, 12,& 13

You will be transferred back to Musoma in time for game drives in the vast Serengeti National Park, world renowned wildlife sanctuary with some of the largest concentrations of game in the world, namely wildebeest, zebra, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle. "Serengeti" means wide-open space in Masai and truly, the Serengeti has vast and spectacular horizons. Olduvai Gorge, Grumeti River, Moru Kopjes and Seronera Valley are just some of the spectacular areas one may visit. Spend four full day’s of quality wildlife viewing drives in the greatest wildlife sanctuary in the world.

Day 14

After breakfast, depart for the airstrip and board your private charter to Arusha. Spend the morning in Arusha for shopping before continue to your dayroom for lunch, relaxation, and a light dinner before departing for Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
