5 Days Fyling Safaris - Bwindi and Murchision Falls National Park

Day 1

On this day, you will be picked freom your hotel and transfered to Kajjansi Airstrip to board a private chartered plane to Kayonza Airstrip. Upon arrival you will be mmet and transfered to a lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Bwindi is a habitat to 326 Gorillas almost half of the Worlds population of Mountain Gorillas. The forest has about 30 elephants and 120 species of mammals including 7 diurnal primates. 360 species of birds and over 200 species of butterflies. This Afro -montane forest has dense under storey of fern, vines, and shrubs. About 324 tree species have been recorded here, of which 10 don't occur else in Uganda. Tonight you will sleep to the sounds of the mountain rainforest!

After checking and having some time to relax, your guide will take you for a forest walk. Bwindi has 4 outlandish hiking trails. On all these trails, you have opportunities to see and learn about primates, many species of birds, butterflies, trees, and other organisms. Arrange at the reception for a guide.

Day 2 Gorilla Trekking

Afte an early breakfast head for the mountain gorilla trekking adventure whilst enjoying the scenic beauty. Mountain gorilla trekking is a major draw for tourist in Uganda and this one will ofer you a memorable and lasting experience with these gentle animmals .

Day 3

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kayonza airstrip to board a private chartered plane to Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival at Pakuba Airstrip, you will be met by your safari guide who will transfer you to Paraa safari lodge, enjoy wildlife watching en-route. Murchison Falls plays host to an impressive variety of wildlife including; lions, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees and many bird species including the rare shoebill.

After lucnh later on in the afternoon you will head out for boat trip along the Nile Kizanga Channel. The boat cruise along the channel is a favorite for many a visitor to Murchison National park.

You will have excellent opportunities to watch wildlife at close qaurters. Along this stretch of the river, there are reported to be around 4,000 hippos in addition to some enormous Nile crocodiles. The bird life is stunning with brightly colored kingfishers and bee-eaters darting along the riverbanks. If lucky, you may see the rare and prehistoric looking shoebill, which is a cross between the dodo and a dinosaur. The boat takes you to the base of the falls which only adds to their impressiveness. Day 4

After breakfast, you will go for a morning Chimpanzee tracking in Kaniyo Pabidi Forest. This is an undisturbed area of natural forest within Budongo Forest Reserve where you can walk beneath mature mahogany and iron wood trees. Chimpanzee tracking is the most famous activity. You will certainly see many forest birds, including the chocolates-backed Kingfisher, the white-thigh hornbill and puvel's illadopsis found nowhere else in East Africa.

In the afternoon, you will relax by the side of the pool and if you have the energy in the afternoon, your guide will take you for a game drive. Among the creatures you should see are Rothschild giraffe, buffalo, lion, elephant as well as several species of antelope. Overnight at a luxurious Paraa Safari Lodge/budget Red chili camp (FB)

Day 5 Fly Back

After breakfast, your safari guide will transfer you to Pakuba Airstrip to meet your private charter plane to Kajjansi Airstrip. Our representative will welcome you and transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight.
