This is a 14 days wildlife & beach holiday with travelbuddyafrica taking you on a wildlife watching adventure in some of Kenya’s best game viewing areas before heading down south to the Kenya Coast of Mombasa for some fabulous beach holiday vacation. The Kenya coastline has some of the best beach holiday destinations in the world.

On this bush and beach safari you will enjoy quality wildlife watching, cultural interactions, bush meals, walking and hiking, optional hot air balloon ride in the Masai Mara, bird watching, swimming, fishing, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkelling, deep sea fishing, sundowners, bush meals among other holiday activities.

Day 1.Arrival

Upon arrival at Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to a hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your time of arrival, once settled in you may optional undertake some sightseeing tours in Nairobi or simply relax at the hotel for the trip ahead. Some of these sightseeing safaris include: Bomas of Kenya, National Archives, Tour of Downtown Nairobi, National Museum, or Langata Giraffe Center.

Day 2 & 3 Meru National Park

After an early morning breakfast you depart from the capital city Nairobi and head north to Meru National Park. En route notice the beautiful country sides. Meru National Park has the greatest variety of habitats and landscapes within its boundaries making it a holiday safari destination worth exploring. Meru is famed as the place where Elsa, the lioness, was returned to the wild in Joy Adamson's famous book, Born Free.

Holiday themed activities include; game drives in open safari vehicles, guided walking safaris, night game drives, and fishing, rafting on the Tana River, bush breakfasts, picnics, safari photography and sundowners. The park is reached via road or bush flight. You will stay at Elsa’s Kopje.

Day 4 & 5. Samburu National Reserve

On this day you will depart from Meru National Park and set off on a journey to Samburu National Park. Arrive in time for lunch before going out for afternoon game drives whilst exploring the park with stunning views and the backdrop of Mount Kenya to the south. Lookout for rarely species such as; the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe. Along the banks of River Ewaso Ngiro wildlife watching is fantastic as animals are draw out by thirst and need to bathe.

Enjoy the myriad of holiday themed activities such as day and night game drives, sundowners, swimming, walking and hiking, safari photography, bush meals, picnics among others.

Day 6 Ol Pejeta Conservancy

You will depart Samburu on this day and go visiting the Ol Pejeta Conservancy also known as the Sweetwaters Conservancy. After lunch, board the 4x4 safari vehicles for an afternoon game drives whilst exploring the conservancy. Ol Pejeta Conservancy non profit making undertaking aimed at wildlife conservation as well as social and economic empowerment of the local communities through sustainable tourism.

Enjoy the great holiday activities lined up at the Ol Pejeta such as game walks, night game drives, horseback riding, bike rides, visit the black rhino sanctuary, also the chimpanzee sanctuary, picnic lunch, sundowners among others.

Day 7 Aberdare National Park

Depart in the morning form Ol Pejeta on a journey to the Aberdare National Park where lunch will is waiting at the Outspan Hotel, in the midst of lush beautiful garden. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Treetops where you can watch game from the terrace. Enjoy game drives, guided walks along the waterfalls with a wide range of game all around you is a unique experience; encountering Lions, Buffaloes and Elephants on foot are the more adventurous options in this park.

Day 8 Lake Nakuru National Park

An early departure takes you to the shores of Lake Nakuru where on an afternoon game you will have excellent opportunities to view the millions of pink flamingos that call this lake home. Rhino viewing in the wild is also possible; Lake Nakuru is one of the only places in Africa to find wild rhino.

Day 9 & 10 Masai Mara NR, Kenya

After breakfast depart from Lake Nakuru and head south on a journey that will lead you the vast Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Later on head out in 4x4 safari vehicles for afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is rich in wildlife and the landscapes are breathing taking. The Masai Mara is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary; everything about this reserve is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grassland ensures that animals are never out of sight. Birds too are prolific, including migrant birds and 53 bird of prey species. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot, and rainfall is evenly distributed throughout the year. When it does rain, it’s almost always in the late afternoon or night. Thus a safari holiday in Masai Mara is quite a memorable safari experience.

The first sight of this park is breathtaking and if you timing is good you might as well catch the wildebeest migration as they make a treacherous crossing of the Mara River around the end of June drawn by the sweet grass raised by the long rains of April and May. It is estimated that more than half a million wildebeest enter the Mara and are joined by another 100,000 from the Loita hills east of the Mara; viewing in the midst of these great herds is an unimaginable experience. While the eyes feast on the spectacle, the air carries the smells, dust, and sounds of hundreds of thousands of animals. There is no other scene on earth to compare with this wildlife marvel.

Days 11- 13 Kenyan Coast of Mombasa

Following breakfast you'll take a morning flight from the airstrip to Nairobi and your connecting flight to Mombasa. On arrival check in to hotel for lunch and, after a short rest, the afternoon is spent exploring the beach.

Once on the Kenya Coast of Mombasa you will spend the next 3 days on Beach Holidays. Here you will find there is a lot to see and do. Beach holiday themed activities includes, day trips, and sightseeing tours to Shimba Hills National Park, picnics, swimming, walking safaris, sailing, snorkelling, fishing, deep sea fishing. Kayaking, scuba diving, sport fishing, & cultural tours.

Day 14 Mombasa - Nairobi

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then it’s off to the airport for your flight to Nairobi and your international connection.

Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1.Arrival

The Masai Mara is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary; everything about this reserve is outstanding. Once on the Kenya Coast of Mombasa you will spend the next 3 days on Beach Holidays. Here you will find there is a lot to see and do. Day 14 Mombasa - Nairobi
